Photoshop Projects

First Project
     This was our first photoshop project. It is a photo of the school with ONW and the school compass. To make this project we had to get a picture of the school and the compass. Then we changed the brightness and contrast of the background and changed the opacity of the compass. Then we added text and put ONW and then we changed the opacity.

Second Project
     This was our second photoshop project. We had to get a picture of a butterfly and then we changed the colors of the butterfly using hue. We used the clone stamp tool to make the wings look like they were moving. It was challenging to make the wings look good with the clone stamp tool.

 Third Project
     This was the third project we did in photoshop. We got a picture of the school and then we added text over it. We made it so the text was transparent and that the outside of the text colored so you could only see the background through the text. Then we added an outline to the text.

Fourth Project
     This was our final project. We added a picture of the school and then we used the clone stamp tool to get rid of the lamp posts. We added a photo of the raven that we cropped from the school gym. We added 4 other photos that were from different parts of the school and we used changed the opacity to make them blend with the photo. Then we positioned the photos how we liked them. Finally we selected the outside of the photo and set it so it was transparent with a mask.

My logo

     We had to make our own logo in adobe illustrator using either a circle, triangle, or square. First we made a drawing of our logo on a piece of paper and then we made it on illustrator. Then I changed a few things that i didn't like about my logo to try to make it look better. Finally i got the design i wanted so then i saved it as a gif file.
    At first i didn't like how my design was so then i started changing it and made it look how i wanted it to. I think i did well with my design and using the different shapes. I need to work on making it look better and trying to be more creative. I will try to be more creative next time with my design.

Why Color Matters

The reason it matters what colors companies use for their logo because it can bring different feelings for the people looking at it. Some companies like to use warm colors if they are a restaurant. Some companies use cool colors if they want to make people feel calm. Different colors can make different emotions for the people looking at the logo.

Red- Anger, Love, Excitement, Fire
Green- Nature, Youth, Envy, Generosity
Blue- Peace, Cold, Unity, Loyalty
Black- Power, Wealth, Mystery, Evil
White- Purity, Winter, Good, Humility
Purple- Royalty, Ceremony, Cruelty, Honor
Yellow- Happiness, Hope, Betrayal, Deceit
Orange- Energy, Balance, Vibrant, Expensive
Brown- Earth, Outdoors, Endurance, Simplicity

Color Symbolism and Culture

My Personality Type

My personality type is ISTJ which stands for Introvert, Sensing, Thinking, Judging. It means that i prefer to work alone rather than in a big group. I use my senses instead of intuition so i use what i know now instead of what will happen later. My decision are based on thinking instead of my emotions. Finally i judge thinks based on what happens instead of perceiving what will happen later in life. Jamie Hyneman is a famous ISTJ.

 I am just like an ISTJ because i am quiet, serious, and i like to do things thoroughly. I am very responsible and i like doing things logically. I am very organized and i value loyalty. I am don't always think of things realistically. I don't always think practically and my home isn't as organized as my school work. I don't always value traditions and i don't always work on toward something without distractions.

I am very quiet in class and most of the time in groups i am quiet. On soccer teams i am sometimes quiet but i can also be very loud. I like when i have to work alone but when  have to work in a group i will try to talk more. I think people have misunderstood me because i was quiet and they thought i didn't know what i was doing. Sometime people who like to talk a lot think i don't like them because i don't talk as much as they do. I am usually very serious and think of things logically.

Color Wheel

To create this color wheel i used Adobe Illustrator. Within this program i used the shape tool to make all the different shapes that are in the color wheel. I used the stroke tool to make the dash line in one of the triangles. I used the fill tool to change the colors of all the shapes. I used the text tool to write all the text that says what all the colors are. You can use Adobe Illustrator to make a color wheel just like this one.
